Get Washed Out during the heatwave that’s hitting DC this weekend. Chill out by the pool to the new LP ‘Within and Without’

The Knife- Forrest Families (Live)

One of my favorite bands, and I’ve never caught them live, mainly because they have only toured once in 2006. This video captures the visual feast of seeing the Knife live. Looking forward to their new release rumored for 2012.

Ellie Goulding- Lights (Bassnectar Remix)

Usually Dub-step tracks turn me off, but every now and then I find track I can’t stop listening to.

It has been almost three years since we have heard from the NYC Dance-Punk group The Rapture. Since we all survived the rapture a few months ago this track reminds me why I’m happy the rapture didn’t sweep us all away. Their new album In The Grace of Your Love drops in September. Listen to the new single How Deep is Your Love.
